Measurement of spore concentration. Semi-basement in Horta Guinardó (Barcelona)

Measurement of spores in a room located in a semi-basement of Horta (Barcelona).

The reference values follow the SBM2015 de l’IBN.

WHAT VALUES HAVE WE FOUND?
Regarding spore concentration we have insignificant values: 7 colonies in a bedroom due to an old presence of mould on some surfaces. Outside we have obtained 36 colonies.

WHAT VALUES SHOULD WE HAVE
Spore concentration: concentration inside should be below concentration outside.uria d’estar per sota de la concentració a l’exterior.

RECOMMENDED MEASURES
Spore concentration: Deep cleaning with alcohol 70% of surfaces infested by mould. Installation of a dehumidifier in the semi-basement.
