Geopannel organised the event, which lasted for 9 lecturing hours. Salvador Domingo, an acoustics engineer, explained with great passion everything regarding acoustics and the insulation strategies for buildings. He spoke also about the serious health issues triggered by an excessive exposure to noise.

Some clichés, which one hears often regarding some acoustic insulating strategies, were clarified not being accurate.

After years of experience, he finds that some of the acoustic insulation values coming from the regulations are not good enough.
