Plataforma TRANSFORMEM

The TRANSFORMEM Platform is a working committee whose aim is to demand that the Barcelona City Council permanently dismantle the electrical substation (transformer) located in front of Escola Sant Martí. This area is classified as green space.

Biohabita! is taking part in the assembly of the TRANSFORMEM Platform—together with the Poblenou Neighbours’ Association (AAVV Poblenou), the AMPA (Parents’ Association), Escola Sant Martí, and local residents—to explain what measurements could be taken at the transformer substation in order to assess its impact on health.
