Biohabitate! Together with\u00a0ORDEIC<\/a>\u00a0engineering, we have designed a gynecological office in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Special care has been taken in the lighting environment of the space.<\/p>\n

Regarding natural lighting and given that the visual needs of medical tasks could only be achieved with artificial lighting, an attempt has been made to maximize the sensation of contact with the outside.<\/p>\n

The entire fa\u00e7ade has been glazed and translucent vinyl has been installed to protect interior privacy. One of the 3 consultation rooms, the waiting room and the reception face directly outside through this fa\u00e7ade.
\nIn the other 2 consultation rooms, toilets and installation areas, glass banners have been placed over the doors to maintain a connection with natural light.<\/p>\n

Regarding artificial lighting, 3 lighting levels have been implemented.<\/p>\n

To create a warm environment aimed specifically at patients, LED strips associated with wooden uprights have been used.
\nWe wanted to create an intimate and welcoming space in the examination area, within each consultation, with a color temperature of 3000k.<\/p>\n

To facilitate the doctors\u2019 work, suspended lights have been placed on the work table, with a color temperature of 4000k.
\nIn the exploration area, an LED strip hidden in the furniture has been placed to illuminate the area where the work accessories are located. Its color temperature is 3000k.<\/p>\n

As general lighting, downlights with a color temperature of 4000k were used.<\/p>\n
