The objective was to acoustically separate the two floors by sectoring the current interior staircase, maintaining a connecting door.<\/p>\n<p>DIVISIONS. A dry partition system has been executed with double plasterboard on each side and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/geopannel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/FichaPYL-AL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geopannel acoustic insulation<\/a>\u00a0in the center, with an acoustic insulation capacity of 47 dBA for the entire complex. Comparatively, a 14.5 cm perforated brick wall (gero) trimmed or plastered on both sides has an insulation capacity of 44 dBA (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.codigotecnico.org\/pdf\/Programas\/CEC\/CAT-EC-v06.3_marzo_10.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CTE-Construction Elements Catalog<\/a>).<br \/>\nDOOR. A door with acoustic features from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnatecno.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barnatecno<\/a>\u00a0company,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnatecno.com\/imgs\/puerta-acustica-pab-47.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">model PAB 47<\/a>, has been installed, with an acoustic insulation capacity of 51.5 dBA.<br \/>\nThe\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.codigotecnico.org\/DocumentosCTE\/ProteccionRuido.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CTE DB HR<\/a>\u00a0requires 30 dBA for a door to protected areas and 20 dBA for a door to habitable areas.<\/p>\n<p>WINDOW. Additionally, windows have been replaced to reduce the acoustic nuisance of a street that suffers from traffic noise due to the steep slope of the street and the passage of buses.
