{"id":4000,"date":"2022-11-14T20:17:34","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T01:17:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biohabita.coop\/mesurament-delectro-contaminacio-dun-habitatge-a-sant-gervasi-barcelona\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T08:28:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T13:28:30","slug":"mesurament-delectro-contaminacio-dun-habitatge-a-sant-gervasi-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biohabita.coop\/en\/mesurament-delectro-contaminacio-dun-habitatge-a-sant-gervasi-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"Electro-pollution measurement of a home in Sant Gervasi (Barcelona)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/biohabita.coop\/serveis\/mesuraments-arquitectura-saludable\/#camps-ones-radiacions\">Electro-pollution measurement<\/a> and current state of a house in Sant Gervasi (Barcelona) to collect data for its integral reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reference values follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/baubiologie.de\/spanish\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SBM2015 of the IBN<\/a>, in the case of VOCs follow those of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaiterra.com\/?hsLang=en\">Kaiterra<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT VALUES HAVE WE FOUND?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the <strong>alternating electric fields<\/strong>, measured with the potential-free method we have strong values: 5.1 V\/m in a bedroom, due to the electrical installation of the neighbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for <strong>alternating magnetic fields<\/strong>, we have weakly significant values: 38 nT, in one bedroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding <strong>electromagnetic waves<\/strong>, we have strong values: 720 &#8216;W\/m2 in a bedroom due to the proximity of mobile phone antennas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding <strong>continuous magnetic fields<\/strong>, we have strong values: deviation of 5.65 &#8216;T, to a bedroom due to a structural reinforcement of the building in the area where the bed head is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With regard to <strong>radioactivity<\/strong>, we have values that do not deserve any consideration: -17% increase in the rate of impulses in a bedroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT VALUES SHOULD WE HAVE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alternating electric fields:<\/strong> we should be below 1.5 V\/m and ideally below 0.3 V\/m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alternating magnetic fields:<\/strong> we should be below 100 nT and ideally below 20 nT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Electromagnetic waves:<\/strong> we should be below 10 &#8216;W\/m2 and ideally below 0.1 &#8216;W\/m2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continuous magnetic fields:<\/strong> we should be below a 2 &#8216;T deviation and ideally below 1 &#8216;T.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Radioactivity:<\/strong> we should be below a 70% deviation from the background value and ideally below 50%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDED MEASURES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alternating electric fields:<\/strong> wall shielding in contact with neighbors, by an expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Electromagnetic waves:<\/strong> screening of bedrooms on their fa\u00e7ade walls, by an expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continuous magnetic fields:<\/strong> move the bed away from structural reinforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biohabita.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/MQ6-WEB-MESURAMENT-CAMP-ELECTRIC-CONTINU.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3577\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biohabita.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/MQ6-WEB-ESTRUCTURA.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3574\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Electro-pollution measurement and current state of a house in Sant Gervasi (Barcelona) to collect data for its integral reform.
