BIOHABITA! takes part in Barcelona’s proposal for COP21

BIOHABITA! is part of the Energy and Climate Change Working Group of the Barcelona+Sustainable Network, which is tasked with drafting Barcelona’s proposal to address climate change. This proposal will be presented at the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21).

The aim of COP21 is to reach an international climate agreement in order to keep global warming below 2°C.

Barcelona wants to find an answer to a two-part question:

Based on the commitments made in the Citizen Commitment to Sustainability 2012–2022, what are we doing in response to climate change?

What are the priorities, challenges, and the roadmap to follow over the next two years?

On September 29th, the first session of the working group took place.
