PRESENTATION: Universe of Stories from Europe to the World
BIOHABITA! collaborates in the educational and social project Universe of Stories from Europe to the World.
Universe of Stories from Europe to the World is an intergenerational oral storytelling exchange project, through which participants can experience the performing arts, ethnological experiences, audiovisual training, traditional dance, sustainability, and other different branches that grow from this tree that forms this universe of stories—this universe of emotions.
The project consists of sharing, through different disciplines, the popular and traditional stories that grandparents tell their grandchildren.
The 2016 edition of the project was presented on March 16 at the Poliorama Theatre.
It is an initiative of the Culture Area of the UNESCO Chair in Sustainability–UPC and the Textura de Cultura Association, with the collaboration of the Escola Superior de Música (Higher School of Music), URV, the Directorate-General for Popular Culture, Associations and Cultural Action of the Department of Culture Generalitat de Catalunya, and the Associació d’Aules d’Extensió Universitària per al Temps Lliure (Association of University Extension Classrooms for Leisure Time).
