BIOHABITA! attends the IV CONGRÉS D’ARQUITECTURA I SALUT

WHAT IV CONGRÉS D’ARQUITECTURA I SALUT  (4th CONGRESS ON ARCHITECTURE AND HEALTH)

WHEN 25th and 26th of May, 2017

Two very intensive days which were divided in 4 Units:

• Thursday morning was about “Re-thinking the future cities”.

The speakers from the administration do not have yet a very holistic vision of health and architecture since their only proposition is to add greenery to the city (which is great) but they seem to be unaware or not interested on other issues equally important which were explained during the very Congress.

• Thursday afternoon was about “Bio-habitability: the pending revolution”.

Marieta Fernandez, a researcher in the radiology and physic medicine department in the Granada University, gave two master speeches on toxics in daily life and non ionizing radiation exposure in our homes.

• Friday morning was about “Natural architecture, feeling the environment, the shapes and the light”

A very interesting speech by architect Stephan Cardinaux, and also by all the other speakers, all of them talking about Sacred Geometry.

• Friday afternoon the BaM jury for the 2nd Award on Building Biology chose this year’s winners.

BIOHABITA! was awarded under the category of “Training programs regarding Building Biology” for the “WORKSHOP ON A HEALTHY USE OF MOBILE PHONES” project, aimed for ESO students.
