A door for Institut Barri Besòs

Biohabita! with Metalistería Gil de Sabadell we have designed the new door of the Institut Barri Besòs.

What is this building? Where is the entrance? These questions will no longer be so common. With the intervention on the environment that

the new door and the use made of color is an intervention on the environment that enhances the visivility of the building and promotes the wayfinding: guiding people through the physical environment to improve their understanding and experience of space.

Taking advantage of the institute’s logo and its colors, a large sliding door has been manufactured that wants to be an element with which both students and teachers and all the center’s staff feel identified.
